Rabon Smith - General Manager

Rabon Smith is a Florida native who grew up playing
basketball and lacrosse. He helped start his high school
lacrosse program and went on to play at Mars Hill College in
Asheville, NC. While living in Asheville, Rabon worked on the
Game Day Staff for the Asheville Altitude of the NBDL. During
his two seasons, the Altitude won the NBDL championship
back to back.
Upon returning to Florida, he coached basketball at Lake
Mary Prep. There he led the Junior High team to an 18-3
record and two tournament championships. Rabon also
assisted with the 1A State Runner-Up varsity team. He
started the lacrosse program at Dr. Phillips High school in
Orlando and has coached lacrosse at NCAA DIII Lycoming
College and DII Rollins College.
Rabon also hopes to bring his camp experience to work with
the Flight as well. "I think as a developmental league it only
makes sense that we try to improve the level of basketball
in our local area."
"I am very excited about the opportunity to bring pro
basketball to Avalon Park. I believe in the mission of the
Florida Flight and feel that we were meant to work together."
