(Kissimmee, FL) – The Florida Flight tandem of Yusuf Baker
and Alex Hill combined for 62 points to lead the short-handed
Flight to a 113-109 victory over Team Skillz.

Florida was playing without three starters (Willie Irick, Trevor Bing and Dwayne Foreman) and
a top reserve (Lamont Houston). The four were in Las Vegas to attend the Eurobasket camp that
exposes their talents to major scouts from all over the world.

The game was close throughout. The Flight led 53-49 at halftime, and after intermission both
teams scored 26 third-quarter points and 34 in the fourth.

Baker shot 14-18 from the floor and netted 32 points to go along with 17 rebounds. Meanwhile,
Hill was 13-19 and finished with 30 points, four rebounds and four assists. Garvin Gordon
returned from a serious knee injury to contribute 19 points for Florida, while teammate Will
Graham chipped in with a double-double (13 points, 11 rebounds).

Leading Team Skillz was Japan Ruise with 23 points and 11 rebounds, while Traavis Chandler
had 19 points and Marcel Thomas contributed 18.

Florida’s record improves to 8-4, and they remain in contention for the league’s top seed going
into the playoffs.
