operational funds for the program. This year, a portion of the donations went towards purchasing
each teenage resident one of their featured outfits from Dillard's.

The event was emceed by Marty Salt, news anchor for WFTV-Orlando. Guests were also treated to
live music, lunch, and the dynamic testimonies of two current teenage residents of the House of
Hope. Unlike previous shows, over half of this year's attendees were new to House of Hope.

The 2009 Fashion Show was the second of many events planned for the partnership between House
of Hope and the Florida Flight. The team is in the process of completed necessary background
checks necessary to engage in the Big Brother program with the teenagers. A basketball clinic
devoted solely to the residents is also in the works.
Over 280 guests attended the House of Hope Fashion Show to help
raise over $30,000 for the Christian residential program for troubled
teenagers on Wednesday, October 7, 2009.
The annual event, sponsored by Dillard's and Channel 9-Orlando
(WFTV), featured teenage residents and several other volunteers
modeling the latest fashions from Dillard's. Florida Flight members
Ernest Jones, Andrew Haas and Mark King were among the volunteer
models for the event.

"It was truly an honor to be included in such an important event for
the House of Hope," said Mark King, Co-Founder and President of the
Flight.

"I grew up in Inkster, one of the worst suburbs of Detroit,
Michigan," said King. "I know how easy it is to mix  with the
wrong crowd and make bad decisions, and I know how
important it is to have something to devote energy towards to
make it easier to stay out of trouble. For me, it was basketball.
If we can mentor these kids and show them how a dream,
maybe even a professional basketball dream, can pave the way
for a successful, fruitful Christian life, well then that's time
well spent for our organization away from the basketball court."

The partnership between House of Hope and the Florida Flight
goes beyond volunteering. A portion of every regularly priced
Florida Flight ticket will be donated to House of Hope.
Additionally, the team, which plans to launch competitively in
2011, is seeking a Central Florida business to sponsor season
tickets for every resident and staff member of House of Hope.

"It would be cool to see all of these teens court-side at every
game," said Andy Haas, small forward for the Flight. "Maybe
court-side seats would make these teens feel important and
stay out of trouble for good. Who knows?"
